Hopkins Military Academy was built in central Virginia in 1864. It has produced some of the finest, most
diciplined men in the US Armed Forces. Those men aren't the only thing Hopkins produced.
In 1950, Captain Alfredo Cochran
was hired as a science teacher, and within several years was promoted to Headmaster of the Academy. Senior cadets who proved
to have strength, loyalty and above all discretion were selected to become the members of a secret society known throughout
the academy as "The Ranks." This elite cadre received special privileges from Cochran in exchange for carrying out
his personal agenda.
The Ranks quickly became the unspoken "law" of the academy, severely punishing any cadets
who attempted to cross them or Cochran. They also perfected their own form of violent, and often ritualistic hazing.
The violent hazing often resulted in the deaths of unfortunate cadets. Over the years there were reports of suicides,
hangings, beatings and many gruesome injuries seeming to result from a variety of sexually deviant acts.
The final
blow to the Academy came when it was discovered that Cochran had been manipulating the cadets into taking part in bizarre,
sexually explicit satanic rituals. In the early 80's, students began accusing Cochran of mental, physical and sexual abuse.
When authorities searched his living quarters in the main tower of the barracks, they discovered unidentified bloodstains,
a table shaped like a pentagram, and corpses of animals--presumably to be used in sacrificial rituals. Rather than face dismissal
from the school, Cochran shot himself in his living quarters.
Over the years as the reputation of Hopkins declined,
the Academy became known as a place for troubled boys. The doors closed forever in 1984. To this day, finding former members
of The Ranks to disclose information about their activities while at the Academy is extremely difficult.

1. Gymnasium Pool- each time the pool was drained, the 'Loyalty Test' was given to junior cadets.
~Holly
is to light a candle that is underneath a rope and then go to the deep end of the pool and lie with her back on the platform.
She cannot move until told to do so. (completed)
2. Stockade- this small room was used to punish the cadets that acted
up. This room is said to be the most haunted in the enite Academy.
~Angela is to channel the spirit of a murdered cadet.

3. Boiler Room- A favorite hazing spot of senior cadets. Many ghosts and spirits have been identified in
this room.
~Brian is to take the EMF trimeter to measure the paranormal activity in the room. He is not to leave until
to directed to. He remained in the room for 47 minutes. (failed)
~Ryan is now to complete the dare aborted by Brian.
He remains in the room for 93 minutes. (failed)
~Mercedes is to complete the dare aborted by both Brian and Ryan. She
remains in the room for 2 hours. (completed)
4.Cabinet Room- a torture room known only to a few select senior cadets.
~Holly is to find the secret passage to the cabinet room and close the door. Once inside she is to be electrocuted by
holding on to 2 wires for 5 seconds. (completed)
5. Boiler Room: part 2
~Mercedes completed the EMF investigation
of the room and now has to locate cylinder #2. She is then to place her arm into a hole and locate a key. (completed)
6.
Captain Cochran's headquarters- site of bizzare satanic rituals.
~Holly, Angela and Mercedes are to report here and locate
a small, pentagram shaped table. They are to look around the table for the box of money.
